i confirm this bug nothing to do with gnome 2.18 i was the first to raise the bug here: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=418477 but it has been ignored for now i don't think it take too much to solve, cause it should only add a new "name" to the distro list..
