Thanks for the description, is this reproducible? If so, it would be
great if you could try and get a better backtrace of the crash.
You will at least need the debug packages libgtk2.0-0-dbg and
libglib2.0-0-dbg, and preferably a debug build of balsa and/or
libgmime-2.0-2.
