The BTS didn't send me a CC of your earlier request for more info.  I
wonder if a mail was lost in the net?  Now I reopened the bug.

Anyway, although pressing Escape to cancel is a nice feature, users
migrating from MS Windows will not know they can do it.  I persist in
my original request: I kindly request that GTK emulate Windows's
behavior in this matter.  :-)
