Well, first, this is not an application launcher, but some sort of
session/workspace management record kept by Emacs. Second, I don't see
the point of changing its name to "No Name" on the file browser, since
it's wrong (the file does have a name), misleading (no way to know what
file it actually refers to) and confusing (what if there are several
files that fall under this category?), to say the least.

Could you please explain your reasons for calling this a feature? I
would almost understand hiding the file entry altogether (although I'd
disagree with calling that a feature, as well), but the current behavior
seems plainly wrong.
