if i get this right you are proposing letting dhclient write the file then immediately writing over it, that sounds like a dirty and confusing hack to me. Furthermore it will break any apps that happen to read resolv.conf (and possiblly cache it) between dhclient putting the wrong stuff in and your script replacing it with the right stuff.
