Bug#405179: gnome: Merge bug reports?

Followup-For: Bug #405179

I think I may have reported the same problem in bug #405181 as well. 
Perhaps these reports should be merged and reassigned to either X or the 
kernel? I'm not sure how those things work.

I suppose it could alse be the same underlying problem that causes bug 
#352315.
