Thanks for your report. This is caused by a bug in gtk-doc-tools.
Upstream has committed a fix that I have just uploaded as well, however
fixing glib2.0 would require to rebuild it with --enable-gtk-doc, and I
don't know whether this would have a chance to be accepted into etch.
