 Now, I think this is finally fixed, but with glib 2.12.9 (in
 experimental); could you confirm this is the case?

 I think the bug appeared because libglib.so was wrongly linked to
 libgthread.so until 2.12.8 (but 2.12.8 was broken in other ways.)
