 Ok, well, poor you: I rewrote the Gtk and Pango builds which had
 basically the same type of problem (files from one build overwriting
 the files of another build), but with different symptoms; I thought the
 problem was a different one because there were some glib <-> gthread
 related changes upstream.

 Anyway, I've committed your patch (with some more rm -rf) and uploaded
 a new glib to experimental.  (While I think the changes are safe, I
 doubt I'll upload this to unstable.)
