Bug#407714: (no subject)

I don't think there's much special about my ion configuration - just a
few changes to some key bindings, and removing my configuration and
using the default configuration still shows the same problem.

I couldn't find anything in the documentation or on the internet about
this problem, although the documentation does mention another problem
related to window focus and gtk that has been fixed, and mentions that
the author discourages use of gtk apps with ion3.

I use scim for my input method, but switching to each of the other ones
in the Input Methods menu doesn't seem to have any effect on this
problem.
