That's a good idea. Can you also try moving ~/.gnome2/yelp.d/ out of the
way so yelp starts with a fresh cache?
The only other clue I have is that your system is set up with C as
locale and in his initial bug report, Michael was using en_US (iso
8859-1), but you are now using UTF-8? Maybe Yelp prefers an UTF-8
environment?
I have to admit that my knowledge of the GNOME documentation system
isn't up to scratch so these are only guesses.
