Well, I think I can say that while it doesn't seem like metacity has
gotten any smarter, xterm seems to have - xterm no longer tries to use
that half line, and leaves it empty. Which is good enough for me, I
guess... so I think metacity itself still would have that problem, yes,
but it doesn't matter so much anymore.
