Hi,

I looked through old postings from the gnomemeeting and ekiga development mailing lists,
and this seems to be a more or less common problem.

In this posting, it is suggested you double check the permissions for the plugins and 
try to strace ekiga to see why the plugins fail to load.

As others users have no problems on AMD64 I'm guessing this bug isn't architecture
specific and can be downgraded to important, but I leave that decision to the maintainers.
