Hi,
Are you still experiencing freezes with disks-admin?
If so, when do they happen? Directly after launching disks-admin, or after
you have typed your root password?
These sort of problems are often hard to sort out, disks-admin shouldn't be
able to do anything that would crash your system, but in reality it is
possible that it exposes some kind of bug in the kernel.
I think disks-admin get most of it's info from the /proc pseudo file system,
but your system doesn't crash if you do a "cat /proc/meminfo" or
"cat /proc/mounts"?
