Bug#434577: gnome-terminal: broken bash history / cursor keys

First, I have to say, this bug _may_ be in nautilus or some gnome libs 
and not in gnome-terminal itself, as this bug occured after I've 
upgraded nautilus today. I have this issue on two boxes and on both 
right after the upgrade of nautilus (and some other what I think 
'unrelated' packages, I provide the full list of upgraded packages if 
one thinks this may be of help).
The subject says it all, the cursor keys for navigating in the bash 
history do not work anymore, on one box appears ";A" and ";B" and on 
the other box it just beeps. ctrl+p|n works nevertheless. Another guy on 
IRC (freenode, #debian.de, caipi, Dominik Bollmann) has the same issue. 
He said 
it sometimes beeps but most of the time it just prints ;A and ;B.
