Hello,
please add "AlwaysLoginCurrentSession=false" to the default gdm.conf.
Or maybe leave a note in the debian/changelog that something changed.

Thank you, that was the reason! ;-)
But there were no changes made in gdm.conf, meanwhile the behavior 
changed from allow to forbid...
