Bug#305860: Possible memory leak

I found my clock-applet today to be using upwards of 170M resident
memory. That sounds like a memory leak. My platform is amd64.

ii  gnome-panel    2.14.3-5       launcher and docking facility for
GNOME 2

After killing clock-applet and reloading it into my panel, it is using
"only" 15.0M resident. I don't have any further info except to say that
I've observed what appeared to be symptoms of a memory leak in
clock-applet.
