Hi,

I can still reproduce this with GTK+ 2.10. The only upstream request for
this I have found is this bug, closed almost three years ago.

If this still is a problem I suggest you file it in GNOME Bugzilla for
product "gtk+" and component "general". You can make a reference to the
bug I mentioned above as it was filed for GTK 1.2.
