Hi,

I can reproduce this bug, but I'm not sure if transparent images was
ever supported. Anyway, I'm marking this bug as forwarded upstream. See
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=316657 . You might want to add
yourself to the cc list for that bug.
