Bug#421965: gdm: Wishlist: support for warm reboot via kexec, and selecting OS to reboot into

It would be great if gdm could give you the option of rebooting into any
one of the entries defined by grub.

It would also be great if gdm could give you the option of using kexec
to reboot into another linux kernel.

gdm could give you a "Reboot Into" menu which would list all of the
entries that grub supports, and a cold/warm reboot setting for linux
kernels.

If this functionality was made into a public API then the gnome-panel
"Shutdown" dialog could support the same options.
