I'm using Spacemonger v1.4.0 -- I haven't checked if the version at
that site is identical to mine, but here are some checksums for it:
for f in sum cksum crc32 sha1sum ; do echo "$f: "`$f Desktop/SpaceMonger.exe`; done
sum: 18177 212
cksum: 737755188 217088 Desktop/SpaceMonger.exe
crc32: b4a5a6b7
sha1sum: f4a38d2f0dbc6b1f1c6177754d269aba55ac8568 Desktop/SpaceMonger.exe
Note that on my system 'SpaceMonger.exe' does run from the command
line, e.g.:
% wine Desktop/SpaceMonger.exe
Invoking /usr/lib/wine/wine.bin Desktop/SpaceMonger.exe ...
{...stuff deleted...}
Wine exited with a successful status

Well, since last time I finally upgraded:
% dlocate -s nautilus shared-mime-info | grep ersio
Version: 2.18.1-3
Version: 0.21-2
...but running 'SpaceMonger.exe' symlink from the 'nautilus' desktop
gives that same error message:
Cannot open SpaceMonger.exe
The filename "SpaceMonger.exe" indicates that this file is of type
"executable". The contents of the file indicate that the file is of
type "DOS/Windows executable". If you open this file, the file might
present a security risk to your system. {...etc.}
In hindsight, it seems unlikely 'wine' would be the problem, as that 'nautilus'
error shows up before calling 'wine'.
