Bug#445505: libgnome2-0: Why is there no -dbg package?

Package: libgnome2-0
Version: 2.20.0-1
Severity: normal

I'm trying to report a GNOME bug upstream (well, that's what happens
by default: bug-buddy runs on a segfault, and prepares an upstream
report) and quite reasonably, they want me to install -dbg packages to
get a better backtrace. I have been able to install all those they
asked for except libgnome's, which seems not to exist (at least,
there's no -dbg package listed as being generated from the source
package).

Am I missing something, or is there no -dbg package, in which case,
please can we have one?
