Bug#448359: window list applet hangs

hello there :)

this is since about two upgrades to gnome-panel in
sid/unstable; it took me some time to find out how to
get it generally:

opening more than nine windows on a single workspace HERE
makes the panel hang in a busy loop (verified by attaching gdb
and breaking several times, just to see the same calls again
and again.) I suspect above number to change, depending on
screen resolution, ie. space for the window list available
inside the panel...

workarounds:

- remove the window list applet from the panel
- set its option to group same class windows
- align the panel to the bottom

is that reproducable? should I bother upstream?
