Yes. According to a ubuntu person, it is about the same problem and apparantly
a fix in gtk.
To quote from the secret kde packagers list:
|Recent versions of GTK changed (or corrected) their API to break when
|not properly initialised. This affects Adobe flash in konqueror with
|nspluginviewer, opera and also Adobe acroread.
|The Gnome developers closed the bug with the anti-social tag of
|NOTGNOME but a nice chap called Jan de Groot found a work around.
