Bug#422470: dasher: Sending text to other windows doesn't work

Package: dasher

Try out to start it with:
dasher --appstyle=direct

if it complains about 
"WARNING **: AT_SPI_REGISTRY was not started at session startup"
Then activate the accessibility stuff ("activate helping
technologies") you can find in the system menu. (sorry, have a german
system. No idea how it's called in english)
