Bug#475801: gnome-appearance-properties: treats multiple monitors as one big surface for desktop background

Instead of allowing me to configure the background on a per-monitor
basis, gnome-appearance-properties treats the screen as one big surface
and stretches the wallpaper across it instead of allowing me to
configure it either as one big surface, or different images for
different monitors or the same image for all monitors.
