Hi,
currently, it's even worse: I have no sound at all. The playback marker
moves forward, but I don't hear anything.
I tested the following:
1. started my TV application (MythTV)
2. started watching TV, I got sound
3. started rhythmbox,
4. started to play a title in rhythmbox -> sound goes off (from the TV
application as well)
5. quit rhythmbox, sound is still off
6. quit MythTV, restarted it, started watching TV: I got sound again
I played around in the mixer without success. However, I noticed the
following:
- only the sound at the (optical) digital output is off
- the builtin speaker still works
- the amplifier still shows a signal when the sound goes off
