Hmm, so it happens only during once after upgrading from etch to sid?
Unfortunately this is not something we can test quickly :/

If anyone tries an upgrade and encounters this issue, it would be nice
to diagnose it by killing all running applications one by one, and see
which one is blocking the logout process.
