Bug#496487: evince: Wacky MIME error for non-existant files

Firing up evince with a non-existent file gives the bizarre result of:
	Unable to open document
	Unknown MIME Type

This is rather surprising (and rather annoying if you make a typo on the file
name and don't realise it for a while).

Attached is a screenshot after running
