Bug#464477: epiphany-webkit: fails to render japanese

If I go to a webpage using japanese characters, e.g.:

   http://packages.debian.org/ja/sid/arm/epiphany-webkit

all the Japanese characters on that page show up as little boxes.

There appears to be a one-to-one correspondence between little boxes and
Japanese characters (judging from the same page displayed in firefox),
so it would appear to be a display problem, not an encoding problem.

Firefox, on the same system, renders the page correctly, so it doesn't
seem to be a system/font problem.  If I save the page as a file and edit
that file with gedit, the japanese characters are displayed correctly in
the middle of the html, so it doesn't appear to be a problem with
gnome/gtk language support in general.
