Bug#490338: alacarte: cannot add an item

- I call alacarte from the command line
  Traceback (most recent call last):
    File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/Alacarte/MainWindow.py", line 385, in on_menu_tree_cursor_changed
      menu_path = menus.get_path(iter)
  TypeError: iter should be a GtkTreeIter
- I select Office, then press New Item
- I set Name:a, Command:/usr/bin/g3data, Comment:aa, presso Ok
  the window disappears, but nothing else happens
- I press the Close button
  alacarte exits without errors, the menu is not modified, later I
  discover that the entry has in fact been added, but under
  Debian / Applications / Office
