Is there a libglib-2.0.so.0 somewhere in /usr/local/vmware? If so, you
should ensure that vmware doesn’t use it but uses the system glib
instead.
What’s the output of “ldd -r /usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0” ?
