Bug#466021: gnome-applets: gnome-mount applet doesn't ups again when X.org restarts

Hello,

I also experience this problem. I can always reproduce it this way:

1. Reboot or power on computer and start Debian.

2. Log into gnome session for the first time. Drive mount applets works
ok.

3. Logout.

4. Log into gnome session again. Drive mount applet does not show, and
if I try to add a new one to my panel, it does not show either although
it is added (if I repeat 1) and 2), then the original and added
instances appear).

Now, I have found that while in step 3), switching to console and
logging in as root, a "ps -ef" commands shows me that some daemon
processes belonging to my user ("daniel", already logged out) still
remain active:

daniel 19367 1 0 20:51 ?
00:00:00 /usr/lib/bonobo-activation/bonobo-activation-server
--ac-activate --ior-output-fd=16
daniel 19430 1 0 20:51 ?
00:00:00 /usr/lib/libgconf2-4/gconfd-2 14

Specifically, the problem comes with the bonobo-activation-server
daemon.

If I terminate that process (from my root console), switch to gdm and
log in with my user again, the drive mount applet behaves properly (as
in 2) ).

Hope this helps,

Daniel R.
