Bug#486738: Please are more mimetypes to the desktop file

Hi,

gedit supports a large amount of different mimetypes, but the desktop
file only have "MimeType=text/plain;".

Can this list be extended, so that users don't have to register
everything?

i can propose a patch (by taking information on
http://svn.gnome.org/viewvc/gtksourceview/trunk/gtksourceview/language-specs/)
