Bug#479778: 90+ seconds to open /usr/bin/

Hi,

I'm seeing this (or a very similar) problem as well, for instance in
iceweasel and emacs22-gtk.  It happens when I type /usr/bin/ into the
location bar and press enter.  In this case it took 90+ seconds of 100%
CPU until Emacs came back to life again.  This only happens if the
directory name is typed into the location bar directly, not if
navigating through the directory list.

Note that I have no gvfs, no Gnome, no NFS - just normal local
filesystems.
