Hi,

Unfortunately, Debian can't distribute lame or gstreamer0.10-lame for
legal reasons, so adding a depends or recommends on these isn't
possible. 

There are plans upstream to provide some sort of easy codec installation
for transcoding, but I don't know it will be possible to add some
information there about unofficial repositories
distribution gstreamer0.10-lame.
