Could you run Rhythmbox to get some output, something like 'rhythmbox -d'
(which will probably generate a LOT of extraneous output) or 'rhythmbox -D
equalizer' or similar ("equalizer" should be the name of the plugin, but I'm
not sure what that is).

If you get a lot of output, maybe you could attach it as a text file to the
bug?
