Package: python-gtk2
Version: 2.12.1-1
Severity: serious
Both sugar-emulator and pychess fail with the same GTK+/Cairo related message:
$ pychess
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/games/pychess", line 9, in <module>
import gtk, gtk.glade, gettext
File "/var/lib/python-support/python2.5/gtk-2.0/gtk/__init__.py",
line 48, in <module>
from gtk import _gtk
ImportError: No module named cairo
I have both python-gtk and python-cairo installed. I recently upgraded
to python2.5.
Cheers,
Shaun
