Package: totem
Version: 2.22.2-3
Severity: normal

--- Please enter the report below this line. ---

Dear DDs,

reading Planet Debian [2], I downloaded the the mp4-file from [1]. Totem
opens the file and shows a still image but playback does not start.
Pausing and resuming does not change anything. Using the “timeline” one
can go through the movie and can see the images at those jumped to
times.

A video from youtube was also not played although gnash is playing it
correctly. So I think it is no codec issue.

There is no output on the command line.

Are you experiencing the same problem or can you give me a hint? Can I
provide more information.

Thanks a lot,

Paul
