Bug#477408: ekiga: Same as me?

Version: 2.0.12-1+nmu1
Followup-For: Bug #477408

The description in the original bug was not exactly extensive, but I'm
wondering if this is the same as what I'm experiencing. When I run "ekiga" is
will sometimes just exit silently immediately, but sometimes it just hangs instead.
No window comes up ever. I tried strace, and it seems to hang when doing something
network-related:
