 Do you still get the bug with 1.4.2?

 Can you please try to downgrade loudmouth to testing version (1.4.0) to
 confirm whether that fixes the bug?

 I guess we can revert the 1.4.0 -> 1.4.1 change for lenny by setting
 the new define via cflags if you confirm that helps.
