Bug#500507: libvte9: Backspace and cursor keys dont not work when compiling linux "make menuconfig"

Hi,

I changed the "Keyboard"-> "Backspace key generates" option to
"Automatic choice" in my profile. I had there "Control-H". Right now
the text input fields in make menuconfig works fine. I reminded myself
that I changed this option to "Control-H" cause Backspace key did not
work form me when I used screen.
I think the bug can be closed.
