What fscking manual work are you talking about? It seems to me you built
up your own idea of what GConf-related packaging should look like, and
it is so twisted and stupid that you’re not even able to explain it,
apart from this completely irrelevant bug report.
Repeat after me: “For a package that uses GConf, I use dh_gconf.” Is
that clear? Aren’t you able to make a package that should be a 4-line
rules file with cdbs?

Since you’re the first to speak, and since you obviously don’t
understand how to make such a simple package, yes, I will have to assume
everybody else would agree with the simple way of doing things, that
does not require changing a m4 file and regenerating the autotools
files.

Given the looks of your new version of the package in NEW, I guess I
will not call this “fixed”.

I don’t find amusing that you are wasting my time with stupid requests,
wasting the ftp-masters’ time with broken packages, and in the end
wasting users’ time with even more broken packages when ftp-masters will
not be here to prevent new breakage from flowing in.
