Bug#514053: A way to reproduce it

Hi again,
it is indeed a timing issue.
With
$ echo "(set -x; sleep 1; xmodmap /home/jojo/.Xmodmap ) & xterm " > /tmp/session
$ chmod +x /tmp/session
$ startx /tmp/session
I get the broken AltGr behaviour, while with
$ echo "(set -x; sleep 2; xmodmap /home/jojo/.Xmodmap ) & xterm " > /tmp/session
$ chmod +x /tmp/session
$ startx /tmp/session
it works just fine.
Maybe it’s not a GNOME bug after all, but some problem with late
initialization of the auto-detected evdev devices? Please re-assign back
if you think so.
Greetings,
Joachim
