I get the same in an xterm. Not a gnome-terminal bug.

Also:

emilio at saturno:/tmp$ host scriptdolpin.com
Host scriptdolpin.com not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)

Reassigning to general as I don't know where it should go. Definitely not a
gnome-terminal bug.
