I'm running Debian Testing, and I'm getting this same problem. It
started about a month ago. My other computer, running the same version
of Debian, isn't having this problem. The problem just showed up one
day after an upgrade.

kernel: 2.6.26-2-686
libvte9: 1:0.20.5-1

Is there any information I could provide that could help pin this down?
