Bug#561736: gnome-power-manager: power button no longer responsive

Package: gnome-power-manager
Version: 2.28.1-2
Severity: important

Some time ago (not sure when) power button no longer responds to pressing by popping up the shutdown menu,

Based on other bug reports I checked that hal is receiving the event:

toote at eternia:~$ lshal -m

Start monitoring devicelist:
-------------------------------------------------
20:44:29.835: computer_logicaldev_input condition ButtonPressed = power

Other events are working (volume up and down and brightness modification - though the latter no longer shows a nice graph when doing so).
