Bug#516048: nautilus: cannot open JPEG files

I can not open JPEG files from nautilus anymore. When I try to, I get the
error message: "The filename 'xyz.jpg' suggest that this file is a
'jpg document'. The file contents indicate it is a 'JPEG image' though."
(Paraphrased translation from the actual German text.) The images in
question end in ".jpg". If I rename them to ".jpeg", nautilus opens them
in eog.
