I tried to use the totem-xine and totem-gstreamer from the
experimental repository but they dont want work on my system:

totem-xine seems to start up ok, but when trying to access the dvb-t
device it freezes when trying to popup some window. It looks like the
exact same issue that is causing this issue: back traces are included
there: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=554319
