The problem is that I have a PDF where some text is
color-coded/emphasized by writing part of the text in orange/green/blue.
The author put emphasis on so much text that in fact most of the text is
colourful, and especially the blue colour is bright blue, not dark blue,
and isn't the best colour to choose with white background.

I would like to read the text without the coloring, something like b&w
printing for display, easily switched on an off. Since the gtk has
already a theme defined for text I would like the text to be in my theme
colors rather than b&w when the colors are to be discarded.

Here I attach a sample PDF created with OpenOffice that shows an object
"dangerous object" which has text in red on yellow. While this might be
nice coloring for emphasis it would be somewhat tedious to read a
presentation which contained many such emphasized objects with some
longer text. I also attach a screenhot of the contrast between the GTK
theme and the content area of evince.

BTW this screenshot also shows another problem: the line between the
objects is not visible in evince. I guess there should be a rule that
whenever there is a line *something* is drawn on the screen. Two lines
might be too close to distinguish but a line is always a line, not an
empty space.
